Parenting Classes We utilizes The Love and Logic model. The Love and Logic model is a 30-year-old philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences. Classes are for parents with children of any age and the techniques are simple and easy to learn.

Invest In Their Future

Mookie's Place Inc. is a 501(3) c nonprofit organization that was establish to help and support the families in the Lancaster community. We wanted to be able to provide afterschool services to families who can't afford after school care. Today Learning and Day Care Centers are so expensive they put even more hardship on families. This causes non-productive situations for the children at home. We developed a program that not only improves the lifestyle of the children in Lancaster but gives overall family support with our wrap around services. Mookie's Place Inc., believes that together if we can change our children's minds on how life has to be then we can change their lives. We must keep our kids busy, entertained, educated and challenged. Our program foucuses on support for our children of the future and and their families.

We provide the children of today with the necessary tools to become great leaders of the future by teaching them the life skills, social, communication and behavior skills needed to achieve these goals. There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child, today it takes a community to raise a child and instill in them the positive thinking and an environment to learn how to. With the help of our donors we've been able to give the children of Mookie's Place Inc., those opportunities. We are committed to empowering today’s youth to be the leaders of tomorrow - and couldn’t have gotten this far without your generous contributions. Donate today, and make the biggest impact on the lives of our community’s youth.
